XRAY T4 wins at Portuguese Nationals R1

Round 1 of the Portuguese EP TC Nationals took place at the ARMAIA track, a very big track located just close to Porto in the north of Portugal. The weather was good all sunday, with some sunshine and with that the racing atmosphere was very enjoyable.

TC Stock blinky 10,5T

Modified class just disappeared and none was there to compete and all entries went to stock, that gives a very high level of competition, but it was the XRAY driver FrĂ©dĂ©ric Santos who took the win the end. FrĂ©d, as we like to call him, qualified second to the finals, but with a very well prepared car and great driving he won the 2nd and 3rd finals, which gave him the overall win. There were 4 T4 in the A final, with Jorge Sim?es finishing 3rd, Patrick Santos who qualified 3rd for the finals got very poor luck in the finals and ended up 8th and the newcomer Marco Costa finishing 10th. All in all it was a very positive weekend for the Team as we took home the win and also for FrĂ©d who won, it was first ever National Round, which we hope to be the first of many to come.
